During a conversation with a Mumbai journalist, she was asked about her thoughts on the attack on Saif Ali Khan. While she briefly expressed her sadness and wished him a speedy recovery, she quickly steered the discussion towards the lavish gifts her parents gave her in celebration of the film’s success, including a Rolex watch and a diamond ring.

This shift in focus did not sit well with netizens, leading to a viral backlash for seemingly disregarding the serious topic of Saif’s attack in favor of discussing personal gifts. Realizing her mistake, Urvashi took to Instagram to issue an apology, acknowledging that she had unintentionally diverted the conversation and asking for forgiveness. She also expressed her hope that her apology would reach Saif Ali Khan.
