The highly anticipated collaboration between filmmaker SS Rajamouli and actor Mahesh Babu continues to generate excitement across the industry. The large-scale action-adventure, tentatively referred to as Globetrotter, is being filmed across multiple international locations and is expected to be one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious projects.
Although the team has remained tight-lipped about the official title and key details, a grand title reveal and glimpse launch event is reportedly set for November 15, 2025, at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The event, which will be livestreamed exclusively on JioHotstar, is poised to mark the formal beginning of the film’s promotional campaign.
A massive Varanasi-inspired set has been constructed at Ramoji Film City at an estimated cost of ₹50 crore, helping the team manage complex shooting requirements without crowd constraints. While Varanasi is being discussed as a possible title, no official confirmation has been made.
The film features Mahesh Babu in the lead, alongside Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran, with KL Narayana producing under the Durga Arts banner. Music is being composed by MM Keeravani. The project is slated for a worldwide release in 120 countries on March 25, 2027.
