In the state of Pujab a unique incident is happening. In shiv temple present in Badaur, Barnala district while Quran has been recited, hindu priests and sikhs are listening with great devotion and intent. For the past 25 years this has been happening.
In the temple popularly known as Gyara Rudhar Shiv Mandir, it has a special hall for other religion people. This is promoting religious harmony when people are fighting everywhere in the name of religion. Recently 20 year old Saket Ali passed way in a road accident.
His dad spent three years in jail on muder case. His mother was not in a position to perform the 9th day prayer after burying his body. Management of Shiv Temple after coming to know about the plight of the mother allowed her to perform the rites in the temple.
This resulted in reciting of Quran in shiv temple with a mullah reading quran in front of a banner having Shiv portrait.
