Sexual molestation, now that’s one term which has been ringing hard in your ears in the last few years. A hindi Tv actress was, molested by a person when she was coming back to home from the work.TV actress Mona Wasu who shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in Anurag Kashyap’s finite series ‘Yudh’, was allegedly molested in Mumbai near her apartment.
The actress, who used her self defence skills to save herself, has now filed an FIR against the alleged molester. The incident took place in Versova on Wednesday night. The incident was happened when she was returning home to Madh Island from Versova at around 11.45 pm on Wednesday.
“I was about to get into the jetty when this man touched me in appropriately . After touching me he just walked away as if nothing had happened. I ran after him, beat him and took him to the police station. As an independent woman, I value my freedom.
Some say travelling late at night is not safe, but then such incidents happen in the morning too.” Vasu shared her experience with media. The molester was identified as Inder Gupta (28) and has been booked under Sections 354 and 509 of the IPC and will soon be produced in court.
Well, she deserves applause for her daring attitude. Wasu’s retaliation is truly inspiring to women in society.
