We had already reported that Prabhas’s Salaar is currently being shot at a deserted coal mine in Godavarikhani, Telangana. A key action sequence is being shot in this schedule and Prabhas is taking part in the same.
Coming to the topic, Satyanarayana, commissioner of police, Ramagundam revealed that a total of 40 police personnel were deployed at Salaar shooting location and at Prabhas’s guest house.
“At first, the makers of Salaar were sceptical about shooting in Godavarikhani, owing to the pseudo-naxals movement. But we assured all possible support to them and they trusted in us. We are providing tight security with a team of 40 police personnel at the shooting location in order to curb any anti-social occurances,” the Commissioner said.
The police chief further added that people from nearby villages and even from Hyderabad are flocking the shooting location to watch Prabhas in action.
In other news, Prabhas’s upcoming project Adipurush was launched with a formal Muhurtham ceremony in Mumbai today.
