Hero Rajasekhar was reportedly “insulted” at Telugu Film Industry’s grand Telethon Memu Saitham. Buzz is that Rajasekhar is of the opinion that he was “taken for granted”. In fact, he himself openly alleged during the Antakshari event, “Right from the beginning our team has been neglected.” Going into details, anchors Suma, Jhansi, Mano (Nagur Babu) have invited Antakshari teams upon to the dais. For Team A they called Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh.
For Team B they have called Jayaprada and Jayasudha, for Team C they have called Sumalatha, Jeevitha and Sada and finally while called Team D Suma has just called the names of Ali and Srikanth. She in fact named Team D as Ali and Srikanth’s team and it took only a while and she realised and called hero Rajasekhar to join the team. Apparently miffed with this, visibly upset Rajasekhar said he will join after sometime.
Only after sometime, he joined the team and later he levelled allegations against Mano that their team has been neglected from the beginning. Although it sound funny, Rajasekhar was said to be serious in his claims. “When Chiru was representing Team A, naturally Rajasekhar expected anchors to call Rajasekhar first onto dais. Although it was not deliberate, Rajasekhar seems to have took this to his heart. He should have taken this in his stride,” said a source in the privy.
