Aditi Rao Hyderi is the actress who has been making her presence felt on Indian screen be it in Hindi, Telugu or Tamil. She has a feeling for a film director which she expressed in a recent interview.
Answering a question, she said, “I wanted to become Mani Ratnam sir’ heroine. I thought if I want to do this, I’ll have to be able to speak Tamil and…work in another language because that is Mani sir’s first language”.
It should be recalled that Aditi Rao Hyderi worked with Mani Ratnam for the films ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ and ‘Chekka Chicanta Vaanam’ in Tamil.
Well, that’s the respect Aditi has for Mani Ratnam, the director of an élan in the Indian film industry.
