It is known that Sensational actor Vijay Deverakonda and director Puri Jagannadh have joined hands for a sports drama titled Liger. The shooting is in its final stages, and the film will hit the screens this year.
Now, the latest update we hear is that Vijay and Puri are now teaming up again for another film after wrapping up their ongoing film. Seems like the actor-director duo has bonded well and they have decided to collaborate yet again. It is heard that Bollywood beauty Janhvi Kapoor has been roped into this untitled project, which is expected to go floors this year.
Needless to say, Vijay Deverakonda has already made a name for himself in Bollywood, and even Janhvi Kapoor praised the Arjun Reddy actor’s acting skills. It is worth mentioning that Janhvi was the first choice for Liger, but she refused the film as she was busy with other projects. However, let us wait for the official confirmation regarding the same.
Meanwhile, Liger will hit the screens on 25 August 2022. Produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, the film has Ananya Panday as the female lead while Mike Tyson was signed for a cameo appearance.
