Ever since a leading national media house broke news that NTR Jr stole the idea of Jai’s character from one of the stories narrated to him by Puri Jagannath, the rumors spread like wildfire in Tollywood circles, and NTR’s image was at stake. Now, it has come out who is behind spreading these attention-seeking allegations.
After ‘Janatha Garage’, NTR contemplated on working with Puri, and they had bounced a few ideas too. However, they decided to move on and collaborate later as they couldn’t finalize a story which could excite the star hero. Later, Bobby approached NTR with the story of ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ and NTR gave his nod to him.
After the release of first teaser from Jai Lava Kusa, which introduced the character of Jai, a devotee of Raavana with a stammering problem, a movie-less heroine close to Puri, who has been working in production department of his films, has allegedly spilled beans to media that the Jai character was lifted by NTR from the story narrated to him by Puri.
It is heard that the only similarity between Puri’s story and Jai Lava Kusa is the lead character having ‘stammering’ problem, that’s it. Is it justified to accuse NTR of ‘plagiarism’ just because of one similarity? Moreover, Puri’s story had only one protagonist with stammering problem whereas Jai Lava Kusa has three characters in lead lead roles with only one having negative shades and stammering issue.
This heroine close to Puri has reportedly intentionally spread these rumors on NTR in order to malign the actor’s and film’s image in view of the Dussehra clash of JLK and Puri-Balayya’s ‘Paisa Vasool’.
