Heroine-Turned-MP To Join BJP Soon?

The election fever had gripped Karnataka. The Southern state will go for the general elections this year. All the parties are busy making game plans for the polls. The likes of AIMIM are also trying their luck in the much-awaited general polls in the poll-bound state.

However, many say that the fight would be between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress. While the BJP wants to come to power one more time, Congress hopes to come to power. The state wing of the BJP is facing some issues and they might show an impact in the elections as per the experts.

Ahead of the election, actress-turned-politician Sumalatha extended her support to the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. the independent MP said that keeping the development of the region, she took the decision and is supporting Modi.

The Telugu heroine said that after consulting her well-wishers and friends he took the decision. Sumalatha said that people might have their conclusions, but she is supporting Narendra Modi for the work he is doing.

This started the debate about Sumalatha joining the BJP. It is known that BJP supported her when she contested the Mandya elections against former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda’s grandson. She won the elections by a big margin.

Since the elections, Sumalatha has been facing issues from the JD(Secular) party. So she needs support. For this, she reportedly wants to join the party. As a baby step, Sumalatha is said to have extended her support to Narendra Modi.

On the other hand, the Karnataka-BJP is saying that they are trying to make Sumalatha join the party. If everything goes well the Telugu heroine might take the BJP. If this happens then it would be a big help to the BJP as well as the party is going through a tough time in South Karnataka.
