Pan-India star Prabhas’s upcoming film Fauzi is shaping up to be one of the most awaited big-budget projects from the South this year. Set against the backdrop of India’s freedom struggle, this period war drama is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and has already generated strong curiosity among fans.

The buzz largely stems from Prabhas playing a soldier, a role that promises both intensity and emotional depth. However, despite shooting starting long ago, the makers have remained tight-lipped about major updates, revealing only a concept teaser and first-look poster so far. This lack of clarity around timelines has left audiences guessing about the release.

Now, in a recent interaction, the CEO of Mythri Movie Makers, Cherry, shared a crucial update. He revealed that nearly 80% of the shoot has been completed. Only three major action sequences and a few talkie portions are pending, with production progressing steadily.

Given the scale and heavy post-production work required, a Dussehra or Diwali release seems unlikely. Instead, the team is reportedly aiming for a December release window, which suits the film’s grandeur.
The film also stars Imanvi as the female lead, with veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada playing pivotal roles.
