Amid tight police security, well-known music director and son of veteran Ilaiyaraaja Yuvan Shankar Raja entered into wedlock for the third time on January 2 (Friday). Yuvan married to Jaffrunnisha, a native of Keezhakarai in Ramanthapuram district.
The wedding was held in a private garden at Senkalneerodai near Keezhakarai amid tight security with only relatives of the bride taking part. It is learnt that bride Jaffrunnisha is a dress designer and now settled in Malysia. Yuvan recently embraced Islam and even changed his name to Abdul Haliq.
Yuvan’s family was said to be upset with his decision. The 35-year-old music director was earlier married to Sujanya and Shilpa and had separated. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for more than 100 films. His last Telugu film was Ram Charan’s Govindudu Andarivadele.
