Huzurnagar By-Poll On Oct 21st, Results On 24th

The Election Commission of India has announced the assembly election dates of Maharashtra and Haryana states. Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora in a press meet in New Delhi has announced that both the states will go for voting on October 21st and the results will be declared on October 24th.

Also the Election Commission has locked the date for Huzurnagar by-election, the one which is vacated by TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy as he got elected as MP. Along with Huzurnagar, 63 constituencies across 17 states will go for by-poll.

The date for nominations will be opening on October 4th. There are 8.94 crore registered voters in Maharashtra and 1.82 crore voters in Haryana as per the Election Commission latest stats.

The Election Commission asked the political parties to restrict the use of plastic during their election campaign.
