However over the past few years Hyderabad’s position as Film Capital is challenged with many film makers looking for alternate locations and destinations in the state for their film shootings and other celebrations.
While Nagarjuna’s Greekuveerudu is celebrating its audio launch in Vizag, Yelamanchali Saibabu will be launching his son Revanth’s debut film Intinta Annamayya audio launch in Vizag itself in March. Raviteja is getting ready to launch his Balupu audio in Vijayawada in April.
Many feel the twin blasts at dilsukhnagar raised security concerns due to which Badshah audio launch was postponed. The launch is scheduled for March 17th with clouds looming large. Even Venkatesh Shadow got permission to launch a song on March 15th after lot of restrictions like not make public announcements of their event, install CCTV cameras at all corners, hire more than 200 security guards and hand over the CCTV footage to the police at the end of the event.
This is making film makers to look for calm and serene venues where they can celebrate without any tensions.
