The small film Dhandora is making big waves following the release of its teaser, which has captured widespread attention in just a couple of weeks. Featuring an ensemble cast including Shivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, and Bindu Madhavi, the film is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about releases.

Written and directed by Muralikant Devastoh, Dhandora explores the final journey of a deceased man and the chain of events that unfold when people connected to him arrive in the village for his funeral. While the premise may seem simple, the film’s treatment is layered with sharp satire, highlighting societal changes, rising selfishness, and the modern detachment from genuine human connections. Its emotional depth and bold narrative have impressed viewers and even caught the attention of prominent producers.

The teaser’s impact has already influenced the film’s release scale, with Mythri Movie Makers stepping in to release it in the Nizam region, while Niranjan Reddy of Hanuman will handle its release in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Scheduled for a December 25 release, Dhandora is poised to give Telugu cinema a meaningful farewell to 2025.
