BJP MLA from Hyderabad T Raja Singh threatened to set ablaze theatres which screen Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmavati anywhere in Telangana. He alleged that the film was degrading Rajput culture and distorting history.
The film is set to be released on December 1. The MLA was belonged to Rajput community and elected from Goshamahal assembly constituency. Singh’s comments went viral on social media since Sunday night.
Raja Singh alleged that the Director distorted history and show the Kshatriya community in bad light.
