India Enters Top 100 in Global SDG Rankings

Hombale Films, one of India’s most prominent production houses known for delivering high-budget entertainers with top stars, has now ventured into the animation space in a grand way. In collaboration with Kleem Productions, they have announced the launch of the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe (MCU) — a visionary project that aims to retell the divine legends of the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu through high-end animation.

The first installment in this epic animated saga is titled Mahavatar Narsimha. Today, the makers unveiled the film’s first promo, offering a powerful introduction to the character of Hiranyakashipu, the menacing demon king. The clip showcases the atrocities committed by Hiranyakashipu, setting the tone for the emotional and spiritual battle that lies ahead.

With dramatic visuals, cinematic world-building, and a compelling narrative voice, the promo hints at the scale, depth, and storytelling ambition of the film and the broader universe it belongs to.

Directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai, Mahavatar Narsimha is set for a pan-India release in 3D format on July 25, 2025. It will be released in all South Indian languages and Hindi, targeting a wide audience and promising a unique spiritual cinematic experience.

With this ambitious move, Hombale Films is not only expanding its creative horizons but also bringing Indian mythology to the forefront of modern animation and world-class storytelling.
