Sree Vishnu’s ‘Single’ Scores Big with Audiences
Sree Vishnu’s latest wholesome entertainer Single is enjoying a successful run at the box office, entering its second week with steady momentum. To celebrate this success, the film’s team held a grand event, attended by the cast, crew, and several special guests from the industry.
Director Anil Ravipudi, speaking at the event, praised Sree Vishnu’s impeccable comic timing. “Sree Vishnu is a dear friend, and I’ve always admired his natural flair for comedy. His spark reminds me of the legendary Rajendra Prasad. I’d definitely like to collaborate with him in the future. And Vennela Kishore’s lungi dance—absolutely hilarious!”
Filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally also heaped praise on the team. “Caarthick has made a strong impression with Single, and I’m already curious about his next film. The chemistry between Sree Vishnu and Vennela Kishore reminded me of the energy Salman Khan and Aamir Khan had in Andaz Apna Apna. Off-screen, Sree Vishnu is calm and humble, but on-screen, he transforms completely—a trait I’ve also seen in Vijay.”
Sree Vishnu shared an interesting backstory about the project: “The script of Single came to me through my friend Kaushik, who introduced me to director Caarthick. Ironically, the script had been rejected by several other actors—whom I now thank! We made this film simply to make people laugh. I had a great time working with Allu Aravind garu, and I truly believe the film will continue its successful run for at least two more weeks.”
Producer Allu Aravind expressed his confidence in the actor and the film. “After watching the final cut of Single, I was so impressed that I signed Sree Vishnu for two more films and gave him an advance on the spot. His humility stands out, and Caarthick Raju has done a fantastic job directing this film. The audience response picked up from the matinee show itself and has only grown stronger.”
The event was also attended by directors Kishore Tirumala, Ram Abbaraju, Vivek Athreya, and Hasith Goli, who came to show their support.
