Indians Deportation Row: Opposition vs Centre Over Deporting Indian Immigrants With Chains

Megastar Chiranjeevi and Victory Venkatesh, two of the biggest icons of Telugu cinema, are coming together for the first time ever in the family entertainer Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (MSG). The much-awaited collaboration is being helmed by blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi, who described the project as a dream come true.

Interacting with the media, Anil Ravipudi expressed his gratitude for getting the opportunity to direct both legends in a single film. He revealed that a 20-minute “powerhouse sequence” featuring Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh is set to be a major highlight and is expected to create a frenzy in theatres.

The director shared that Venkatesh will be seen as Venky Gowda, a mining businessman from Karnataka—a role that marks a refreshing departure for the actor. Speaking about Chiranjeevi, Anil said the Megastar thoroughly enjoyed even self-deprecating humour, adding that it was a delight to watch him perform with such ease and enthusiasm.

Anil Ravipudi noted that MSG primarily follows Chiranjeevi’s character, giving a unique touch to his writing. He emotionally recalled the 18 days of shoot with both stars as one of the most memorable phases of his life, stating, “I still can’t believe it happened, but I’ll cherish it forever.”

Produced on a lavish scale by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela, the film has been handled with strict financial discipline. Anil revealed that he personally monitored the daily budget, treating the project as his own. Emphasising producer safety, he said that while profits may vary, ensuring a smooth and secure production process was his priority.

Thanking audiences for their continued support, Anil Ravipudi urged them to watch Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu in theatres on January 12, expressing confidence that the film will emerge as a massive blockbuster.
