The makers of Balakrishna‘s BB3 took a whole lot of time to rope in the female lead. Interestingly enough, a couple of actresses walked out of the project after signing the dotted line and joining the shoot. The producers finally roped in Pragya Jaiswal and she has started shooting for her portion.
Strangely enough, the makers of Balakrishna’s upcoming project under Gopichand Malineni‘s direction are also having a tough time finalizing the lady lead.
As per sources close to the movie unit, the makers recently initiated talks with Shruti Hassan and enquired if she would be interested in playing leading lady in the film.
However, they did not receive a positive response from Shruti Hassan as she has rejected their offer for undisclosed reasons.
Shruti Hassan scored a big hit with Krack recently and she is currently busy with Prabhas’s Salaar. She is one of the happening actresses now and that could be the main reason why she turned down the offer to act alongside a veteran like Balakrishna.
The makers are now in search of another noted actress who would be ready to come on-board for the Balakrishna starrer. It is known that Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling the project.
