Be it a ruling party or opposition or a national party, there will be a proper mix of juniors and seniors. In any level of politics, juniors respecting seniors, following in their footsteps at least asking them for suggestions in crucial periods is an etiquette.
But, the situation in YSRCP is quite different. Especially in the Guntur district which is said to be the epicenter of AP politics, the junior YSRCP leaders’ behavior is intolerable for the party cadre and the senior politicians.
There are 17 constituencies in this district and except Ponnuru and Tenali, the same situation prevails in every area in the capital district.
Most of the MLAs from this region are the ones who got the MLA ticket for the first time. They all won the seats with the help of Jagan’s wave but it seems like they are in the euphoria of their own capability about their triumphant. They formed groups and are disrespecting seniors and barely care about their presence in the respective constituencies.
In Chilakaluri Pet, Tadikonda, Gurajada and Pedakoorapaadu the equations before the assembly elections have changed as many new in-charges took charge in a number of constituencies.
As a result of this, the upcoming leaders were encouraged by the seniors and they worked very hard for the junior leaders’ victory. The elected MLAs completely forgot these things and are committing their own style of politics out of overconfidence.
