Whenever one talks about increase in muslims in India, so called secular parties say it is just a misconception and hate campaign spread by the so called fanatic,right wing,Hindu fundamentalist parties and organisations like BJP,Shiv Sena,VHP,Bajrang Dal etc.
However recent survey indicate that India will soon surpass Indonesia and become the largest muslim population and largest Muslim country by 2050. Pew Reserch Center came with this religious profile predictions.
According to the study Muslims will grow faster than the overall population in the World while Christians and Hindus grow according to the growth of World population.
The report said “Over the next four decades, Christians will remain the largest religious group, but Islam will grow faster than any other major religion,”. As per the predictions there will be near parity between Muslims (2.8 billion, or 30 per cent of the population) and Christians (2.9 billion, or 31 per cent) by 2050. Hindus will be the third largest population with 14.9% while people with no religious faith will be the next with 13.2%.
