Under the present political circumstances, KCR’s Delhi meeting garnered huge political significance. Especially after facing blows like the Dubbaka result and GHMC poll results, KCR went to Delhi and met the Union Minister Amit Shah. Of course, we all know how sensational and strange KCR’s decisions used to be.
It is known that the TRS party started to criticise the central government during the campaigning period that they do not care about Telangana at all in the Greater elections and the previous Dubaka by-elections. Though all his efforts went in vain. Now, he traveled to Delhi to persuade the Center which he alleged was not co-operative.
He is scheduled to meet several Union ministers as part of the three-day visit. KCR, who met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at 8 pm on Friday night,held private talks for forty minutes and it garnered too much attention in political circles. As usual after Amit Shah’s meeting, the news came out that KCR discussed issues along with flood relief such as on division issues, state projects and recent political developments.
After meeting Amit Shah, the chances of meeting Prime Minister Modi are said to be better for KCR. However, the news is out that without having a pre-plan, KCR who was on a tour of Delhi at the time is only asking the Home Minister for flood relief and that is the main aim of this whole trip. It is known that the TRS government has been unable to provide relief funds for the victims in GHMC all by themselves and most possibly that is the prime reason for KCR’s visit to Delhi.
