Naga Chaitanya has been on a roll lately with hits like ‘Majili’, ‘Venky Mama’, ‘Love Story’ and recent ‘Bangarraju’. He is working on Vikram Kumar’s ‘Thank You’ as of now and did a special character in Aamir Khan’s Hindi film ‘Laal Singh Chadda’. There is news that he will be doing a web series too and it excited the Akkineni fans.
Working on a web series gives you an opportunity to explore different roles which cannot be done on big screens. The series is expected to be streamed on Amazon Prime Video and if sources are to be believed, it is a horror-comedy. As we know, a lot of celebrities like Madhavan, Samantha, Manoj Bajpayee, Kajal, Tamanna and others got a very good name after working in web series.
In the same way, Naga Chaitanya is reportedly going to try a new genre and horror comedies seems to be the latest trend. A Pan-Indian star like Prabhas has reportedly opted for a horror-comedy movie with Maruthi and his dad Nagarjuna did ‘Raju Gaari Gadhi 2’ in the past. The news is yet to be confirmed and if it becomes true, we need to see how Chaitanya performs in a horror-comedy series.
