Bhanwar Lal has announced the schedule for MLC election in two Telugu states. Elections will be held on March 16th and counting starts on March 19th. In AP, there are 26 MLCs available after taking all vacancies into consideration.
There are many aspirants in TDP are in queued and waiting for CBN’s green signal. Some of the senior leaders like Somireddy, Gaali, and Payyavula are also in the aspirants list. All the three have lost their election in the general elections. If they won in the election they would become the ministers in CBN cabinet.
As per current scenario, TDP Senior leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy would sure his name in TDP list. Reportedly, Somireddy would get chance under MLA quota where Beeda Ravichandra also gets chance in BC quota from local bodies. BJP leader Anjaneya Reddy from Nellore district is also trying to get chance for MLC.
Whole election process will be completed before the Assembly sessions started. Somireddy has known for his talkative skills and knowledge on subject. Party cadre also feels happy if Somireddy got chance for MLC. CBN assured Somireddy for MLC before later was selected for Sarvepalli Ticket.
