TDP member and Uravakonda MLA Payyavula Kesav is one of the most loyal and strongest members of the Telugu Desam Party. This is exactly why the absence of Payyavula’s name in the recently released National and State committees is surprising everyone.
TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu tried to do justice to everyone, and gave a lot of posts to women as well, in these committees. He also gave these posts to the most important people of TDP, but not Payyavula, which is making everyone question if everything is well between Babu and Payyavula.
Ganta Srinivas Rao’s name is also missing from the list, but that isn’t causing much discussion, given that Ganta has been planning to join YSRCP for quite some time now. Names of MLAs Velagapudi Ramakrishna and Gana Babu from Visakhapatnam are also missing from these committees, but this absence hasn’t caused much discussion. Payyavula’s case has become curious because he leads the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on behalf of the TDP.
The fact that there have been no rumors of Payyavula trying to join other parties, and yet not being a part of any committee is indeed mysterious. This is because former Assembly Speaker Kavali Pratibha Bharati has been made the Vice-President, despite rumors of her planning to join the YSRCP. Even former MLA D K Satya Prabha has been given a post in the committees, depite her son meeting Jagan very recently. giving rise to rumors of the mother-son duo joining YSRCP.
Former MP Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy, who joined the TDP just before the 2019 elections, from Congress, has also been given a post, but not Payyavula. What could the reason be?
