Celebrity divorces are getting normal these days. Starting from Bill Gates to Tollywood’s own Naga Chaitanya, many are parting ways with their life partners. Over the past few weeks, we have heard a lot about prolific director Sreenu Vaital reportedly getting a divorce from his wife Rupa Vaitla. There was no official confirmation on this news but the former star director’s latest tweet is hinting toward it.
After making his debut with ‘Nee Kosam’ in the early 2000s, Sreenu Vaitla turned into one of the top directors in Tollywood within no time and delivered memorable movies like ‘Anandam’, ‘Sontham’, ‘Dhee’, ‘Ready’, ‘Andarivaadu’, ‘Venky’, ‘Dubai Seenu’, ‘King’, ‘Dookudu’ and others. But things took a bad turn for him in 2014 when he delivered a disaster like ‘Aagadu’ with Mahesh Babu. His next movies like ‘Bruce Lee’, ‘Mister’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ ended up being nightmares for everyone involved in them.
His partner Rupa is a fashion designer who worked on a couple of Vaitla’s films. She even owns a fashion brand named ‘Vedik’ and runs a business of her own. Vaitla and Rupa were in love before getting married and they have three daughters together. With Sreenu Vaitla getting off the success track, differences cropping up between the couple and other financial issues, Rupa reportedly filed for a divorce. A few years back, Rupa even registered a police complaint against Vaitla saying that he is harassing her. Sources say that the couple wanted to have a divorce long back but their parents convinced them to stay together. Now, they filed for divorce at the Nampally court as per reports.
Despite not responding officially, Sreenu Vaitla’s recent tweet is getting a lot of attraction. He posted a photo with his three kids and wrote, “Life is beautiful but with your loved ones it’s more than beautiful. Can’t imagine life without my three musketeers!!” While his personal life cannot be judged by anyone, everyone are hoping that Sreenu Vaitla recovers from everything and makes a strong comeback in the near future.
