IT Companies moved from Vizag to Rajahmundry

Holy shrine of Rajahmundry is soon turning into IT hub. With Hudhud cyclone hitting Visakhapatnam severely, many IT companies got severely affected as communication systems got severely affected the steel city.

IT companies which cannot stop their operations for long started looking for alternatives and started operating from Rajamundry. Already 30 out of 75 IT companies in Vizag started their backoffice operations from Rajahmundry. Around 30 employees from each of these companies are operating from Rajahmundry. 

IT industry is also looking at Rajahmundry as alternate IT hub to Visakhapatnam and CM Chandra Babu Naidu’s announcement earlier to make Rajahmundry as IT hub is viewed in a positive manner. Software companies are saying that if Govt provides necessary infrastructure, then they are open to turn Rajahmundry into IT hub.
