Artificial Intelligence is a current phenomenon and the new technology is showing its capability in various ways. The AI-based Chatbot ChatGPT is making wonders. Though it was created to help the customers to get assistance from the AI, the chatbot is doing something unexpected.
The impact of ChatGPT is such that people are understanding it can do many things and a few people are earning in big numbers by giving classes on how to use the platform effectively. However, there are also a few concerns that AI would result in people losing their job, mainly tech employees.
Amid these concerns, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Chief Operating Officer N. Ganapathy Subramaniam said that the IT Engineers are safe. Having said that he also maintained that the efficiency of employees increased with the usage of the AI.
N. Ganapathy Subramaniam said that SI is not new and the company has been using it since 1990 and the technology is getting mature with time passing. He even predicted the future of technology and said that at one point in time, everyone would use the technology and the next generation would also use it.
Adding further he said that TCS is using the technology for a long time and also gave clarity on how the firm is using Artificial Intelligence effectively. Ganapathy Subramaniam said that the majority of codes of the banking software suite were prompted by the AI.
For the unversed, TCS BaNCS is the core banking software suite used by retail banks. Tata Consultancy Services developed the software. The Software can carry out functions like universal banking, core banking, payments, wealth management, forex, money markets, compliance, insurance, and securities processing
