It’s been two years since the YSRCP came into power, and two years since YS Jagan Mohan Reddy became the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. On this occasion, Jagan has released a report to the people of AP, listing all the good that he did to the people of the state in the last two years.
Reiterating the sentiment that he’s a man who always wants to do something good for society, Jagan said that 86% of the total population of the state has received some or the other kind of welfare benefits in the last two years. He said that his government has given Rs. 95,528 Crores direct cash benefits to the people of the state in the last 2 years. He said that this amount was directly deposited into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. He also said that Rs. 36,197 Crore worth welfare benefits have been given to the people of the state, during the YSRCP’s regime.
Jagan said that over Rs. 1.31 Lakh Crores have been given to the people in the form of welfare benefits, and that all of this happened without the meddling of any middlemen, and without any selfish advantages of the ruling party. He also said that 66% of these benefits were directly reaching women. Jagan said that the YSRCP is the only party in the country to have fulfilled 94.5% of the promises it made to the people in its manifesto. He also said that he would pray to God to make sure that they keep on doing this in the next few years as well.
