Jagan Has Plans For Amaravati!

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has certain plans in his mind for the development of Amaravati and there is no need for the farmers who had given their lands to have any anxiety about their fate.

This was made clear by minister for municipal administration Botsa Satyanaryana.

“Jagan has a clear strategy to develop Amaravati and also fulfil the promises made to the farmers by the previous government,” he said on Thursday.

He said farmers had given lands under land pooling scheme would be offered developed plots as promised by the previous government.

In case if farmers wanted anything in addition to that, the government was ready to have talks with them and consider them as per the possibilities, the minister said.

Botsa accused TDP president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu of spreading false propaganda and misleading the people with wrong information.

Referring to the report published by Eenadu on the buildings constructed in Amaravati, he said all the buildings that were put up by TDP government in Amaravati were temporary.

“The secretariat is a temporary one, assembly is temporary, high court is temporary and all the government offices in this region are being operated in rented spaces. Now Chandrababu Naidu is saying that these buildings are enough to run the capital in Amaravati. But before elections he stated that the capital construction needs Rs 1.09 lakh crore,” the minister said.

He said by taking up agitations, the opposition was going with false accusations and disturbing the happy atmosphere.
