Jagan Repealed Three Capitals Bill With Bigger Plans

The happiness of Amaravati farmers and their supporters on the three capitals bill repeal did not last too long as the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan told the Assembly that the decision to repeal the bill was taken to make the bill error-free to avoid any issues or struggles in the future.

Now what we hear from the media circles is that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had repealed the bill with bigger plans on the same. Having learned from the previous experiences, he will follow a detailed procedure in making the three capitals bill a reality that too without any problems.

It has been widely reported that the Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up to follow a chronological order while introducing the bill in various houses to see that the bill doesn’t land in any legal issues like the previous bill. The three capitals bill was challenged in Andhra Pradesh High Court and Supreme Court earlier.

If we have to take anything from the reports, the new bill will be introduced in Panchayats, followed by Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency(MPTC), Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC), Municipalities and Municipal Corporations with bigger plans in mind.

The reason behind making plans to introduce the bills in houses of various levels is to make the new and revamped bill fit enough to defend it legally. The government can tell the courts that the bills were passed in various houses to avoid any issues or obstacles in the courts. The agenda behind this is to make the new bill pass through the process without any issues unlike the previous one.

The process might be a time taking one but the waiting is worth it if the new bill that paves way for the decentralisation of development by developing three regions is made in a way that it won’t attract any issues or difficulties.

The Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions Act, 2020 were the two bills that were repealed by the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly the other day during the Assembly sessions. The two bills were passed by the Assembly last year.
