A lot of people are dying every day due to the pandemic, and a lot of people are suffering terribly. The worst part of all is that a lot of children are being orphaned after the passing of their parents affected by the pandemic.

The Jagan government has now taken a decision to make fixed deposits of Rs. 10 Lakhs into the accounts of those children who have been orphaned during this pandemic, in association with a bank. An interest of 5-6% that is obtained from this deposit is expected to be paid every month to the guardians of these children, to take care of the children.

On the other hand, the AP government has included the ‘black fungus’ disease to the list of diseases that are covered under the Arogya Sri scheme, which helps lakhs of people in the state.
