
YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has reportedly extended his condolences to Six Time MLA and former minister Devineni Nehru’s family following his death this morning.
Jagan called Nehru’s son Avinash on phone and talked briefly to condole his father’s death. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, TS CM KCR and several other leaders have also offered their condolences to the family in this grieving time.
Nehru passed away at a private corporate hospital in Hyderabad in the early hours today. He was admitted to the hospital last week and was undergoing treatment.
Along with his son, he recently joined TDP after the Congress suffered major defeat in 2014 election. Nehru was the senior most leader in Krishna district.
After the tragic news is made official, several politicians already reached Care hospital in Hyderabad to pay their tributes to the deceased leader. Meanwhile, Avinash has requested his father’s followers from Vijayawada and other parts of the Telugu states not to rush to Hyderabad.
His body will shifted to Vijayawada this evening and final rites will he held on Tuesday.
