Nara Lokesh’s fresh comments on 2019 general elections have come as a great surprise to many. Lokesh claiming to win 175 assembly constituencies out of 175 assembly seats in AP in 2019 have shocked even political experts given that it is not so easy to out Jagan Mohan Reddy at least in his own constituency.
However, Lokesh exuded confidence citing that government’s development agenda and water supply to all constituencies including Pulivendula would bring them back to power. “Not even Rajasekhar Reddy could bring water to Pulivendula. But Chandrababu Naidu garu has made it possible. The people’s opinion is clearly reflected in Nandyal and Kakinada election results,” Lokesh told a TV channel.
When questioned about whether such statements on winning 175 constituencies would make TDP leaders over confident and keep them away from working, Lokesh retaliated and said that TDP has a great disciplinary and its leaders never turn lazy and always work for people, their own constituency.
On further prodding on 175 seats, Lokesh reassured that TDP will win all 175 seats in 2019. However, when asked about Pawan’s Janasena and BJP too won’t win a seat, Lokesh clarified that Janasena and BJP are TDP allies and he said that their coalition together win 175 seats.However, even TDP’s own party members are not sure of winning Jagan’s fort – Pulivendula. It needs to be seen what is Lokesh and Chandrababu’s action plan.
