YS Jagan, known for his frequent visits to Andhra Pradesh, once again stirred the political waters with his remarks. During his recent trip, he made a sarcastic comment targeting Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, saying, “Corporator Ki ekkuva, MLA Ki Thakkuva.” His statement, delivered in a dismissive tone, quickly sparked outrage among Pawan Kalyan’s supporters and was strongly criticized by the ruling NDA camp.
The issue has now escalated to the police station, with Janasainiks from Eluru’s Dwarka Tirumala filing a formal complaint against Jagan, demanding action over his comment. The protesters expressed their anger at Jagan’s remark and staged a protest at the local MPDO office, calling for measures against the former CM.
However, it’s important to note that such provocative statements have become a regular feature in politics today. While police action is unlikely, as these remarks are often seen as part of the political discourse, the incident has had one notable outcome — it has united the supporters of both the TDP and JSP. Both parties, offended by Jagan’s comment, have come together and are retaliating against him with renewed force.
