The irregularities in Intermediate results are still inviting protests from the opposition parties. On Thursday, Jana Sena Party activists staged a protest at Pragathi Bhavan and demanded immediate justice to all the three and half lakh students who could not qualify the exam.
Also the Jana Sena activists demanded the government to announce ex-gratia to the students who have committed suicide and also punish the officials who are responsible for the student lives. With a good number of Jana Sena workers reaching Pragathi Bhavan, there was a tense situation at one moment.
The police have detained the Jana Sena activists and moved them to Ghosha Mahal Police Station. The security is tightened at Pragathi Bhavan later.
