BRS leader Kavitha has once again taken aim at Pawan Kalyan, reigniting a political rivalry that dates back to 2014. Back then, Kavitha had controversially called Pawan “the Brahmanandam of politics,” mocking his seriousness in the political arena. Nearly a decade later, she has revived those sentiments in her recent podcast, stating that she still doesn’t view Pawan as a credible politician. She particularly criticized his past remarks on Hindi imposition, accusing him of contradicting himself and lacking consistency.
This fresh criticism hasn’t gone unanswered. The Janasena Party responded swiftly and strongly. Through its official Twitter handle, the party posted a sharply edited video that appears to label Kavitha as a “clown”—an indirect but bold counter to her podcast comments. The video features snippets of Kavitha’s statements about Pawan’s ideological evolution, followed by clips clarifying Pawan Kalyan’s actual stance on learning languages.
The rebuttal stresses that Pawan never endorsed Hindi imposition, but rather encouraged South Indians to learn new languages as a survival tool, not a cultural surrender. The party asserts that Kavitha misrepresented his statement to attack his credibility.
This digital counterstrike from Janasena is being seen as a forceful pushback and a clear message that the party won’t remain silent in the face of targeted political jibes.
