One of the leading stars in Tollywood Power Star Pawan Kalyan who floated his outfit Janasena party is giving special focus on making his party strengthen in the state. For this, he is focusing on the current issues in the state. Reacting to the alleged attacks on TDP offices, Pawan Kalyan had condemned the incidents.
Janasenani is in the news now with his demand of naming the Kurnool district after a former Chief Minister of the combined state. Batting for the same demand, Janasena had issued a press note saying that Janasena will do the same if the ruling party won’t do it. In the press note, Pawan Kalyan also expressed his dissatisfaction with not naming any government scheme after the great leader.
On Thursday, Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena issued a press note with a demand that Kurnool district should be named after former Chief Minister of combined Andhra Pradesh Damodaram Sanjivayya. Janasena party said this is not a demand but the party is demanding it as a right.
Giving the example of changing Kadapa district as YSR district, Janasena through the voice of Pawan Kalyan said demanding the changing of district name after a great leader who fought for the suppressed classes is not wrong. The party mentioned that if the government won’t make the change, Janasena would do the same after coming to power.
In the tweet, the Janasena party had attached a video link of party founder Pawan Kalyan sharing the details of great and visionary leaders like Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, P. V. Narasimha Rao, and Damodaram Sanjivayya. The Janasena party was formed with the inspiration of such great leaders. Despite serving as the Chief Minister for two years, Sanjivayya garu had brought a lot of reforms. He was the first to start pension schemes. We should respect such a great leader, Pawan Kalyan said in the video.
Earlier, Pawan Kalyan announced that the residence of Damodaram Sanjivayya in Kurnool district would be turned into a memorial and for that, an amount of Rs 1 crore will be spent. While announcing the same, Pawan Kalyan shared the pictures of the residence of the former Chief Minister.
