The recent Graduates’ MLC results gave a big hope for the grand old Telugu Desam Party as it won three seats by a big margin. On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party recorded a disastrous performance as the saffron could not win the sitting MLC seat too.
Making the election result even more painful, many BJP leaders felt that Janasena not walking with them might be the reason for the defeat. A few leaders like PVN Madhav, who lost the sitting seat said that lack of support from the Janasena party led to the defeat. He even asked why the party did not support it.
The BJP leader’s comments created a sensation among the political circles as Janasena and BJP are in alliance in the state. Despite this, Madhav almost blamed Janasena. His comments created an opinion among people that things might be not well between the two parties.
When so much is going on, Janasena is keeping its silence on the criticism coming from the Bharatiya Janata Party. None of the party leaders
reacted to the criticism and addressed them. Pawan Kalyan is busy with his political work and films. At least we can think that he might not have the time to react.
Even the other leaders like Jana Sena Party (JSP) Political Affairs Committee chairman Nadendla Manohar also did not react to the criticism and comments made by the saffron party. Janasena’s silence on BJP’s comments is raising many questions about the alliance and ties between the two parties.
With the general elections just one year away, this is not good for both parties. It’s been over three years since both parties allied and they could not win at least one poll. Of late we are hearing reports that things might be not going well between the two.
The recent MLC polls highlighted the alleged differences between the two. When the BJP was giving its best, Janasena stayed out of the polls and campaign. Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan urged voters to teach the YCP a strong lesson. Surprisingly, Janasenani did not seek support to the BJP.
On the other hand, there is an opinion that Janasena wants to walk with Telugu Desam Party and it wants to exit the alliance with the saffron party silently without hurting it. Janasena not supporting BJP might be a part of the efforts to exit the alliance.
