The film ‘Mahanati’, which is a biopic of legendary actress Savitri is a landmark in Keerthy Suresh’s acting career. It was a role of a lifetime and Keerthy utilized it to maximum effect and secured a national award. Nearly 20 months after the release, young Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor speaks about this movie.
She told that she watched ‘Mahanati’ a lot of times and tears roll down while watching it the first time. She said that she called Keerthy and cried badly over the phone. Janhvi expressed her wish to act in South Indian films and stated that Telugu films are on the same level as Bollywood.
Janhvi made her debut with ‘Dhadak’ and she was recently seen in ‘Ghost Stories’. She will be seen in films like ‘Dostana 2’, ‘Roohi Afza’, ‘Gunjan Saxena’ and ‘Thakth’ in 2020.
