Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is all set to showcase her dancing prowess in the much-awaited film PEDDI, where she will share screen space with Tollywood star Ram Charan. Known for his electrifying dance moves, Ram Charan is considered one of the best dancers in Indian cinema—making this upcoming number a real challenge and opportunity for Janhvi.
According to sources, Janhvi recently completed a brief shooting schedule before flying to France to attend the 78th Cannes Film Festival. “She had three working days after May 15 before flying to Cannes,” said a source. “She is expected to return to the set by the end of May, with a high-energy romantic dance number slated for the first week of June.”
The song, composed by legendary music director A.R. Rahman, is expected to be a visual and musical treat. Janhvi is reportedly undergoing intense rehearsals to match the pace and energy of Ram Charan. “Though she has previously featured in dance numbers in Bollywood and made an impression in Devara with Jr. NTR, this song will be a real test of her skills,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Janhvi made her debut at Cannes in style, wearing a blush pink couture lehenga by Tarun Tahiliani. The Banaras-handcrafted ensemble, featuring a sculpted modern design paired with a traditional ghungat, was widely praised as a graceful tribute to her mother, the late legendary actress Sridevi.
