Actress Janhvi Kapoor commands a substantial paycheck, which some feel may not fully align with her box office track record. However, according to her father Boney Kapoor, Janhvi is far from being a burden on producers. She takes conscious steps to reduce additional costs during shoots. Boney revealed that Janhvi often covers her own travel expenses and does not charge producers for the travel of her staff or family members accompanying her.
“If Janhvi is traveling for a shoot, she buys her own tickets. If her team or relatives travel with her, she doesn’t pass those costs onto the producers,” he said.
Boney added that this sense of responsibility was instilled in her by both him and her late mother. Being a producer himself, he often shared the financial challenges filmmakers face, helping Janhvi cultivate a pragmatic and professional approach to her work.
