Amid ongoing speculation about her relationship with longtime boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya, actress Janhvi Kapoor has clarified that wedding plans are not on the cards anytime soon. In a recent media interaction, she emphasized that her current priority is her acting career.
Janhvi has been open about her bond with Shikhar, often accompanying him to temples and rituals, but she has never officially confirmed the relationship to the media. Insiders, however, insist that the couple’s commitment is serious and not casual.
Reports suggest that Janhvi was once keen on marrying Shikhar this year. However, with a packed slate of projects in both Hindi and Telugu cinema, she has chosen to put personal plans on hold. “She will settle down when she feels assured that marriage won’t affect her career growth,” a source revealed.
Currently, Janhvi is busy promoting Homebound, India’s official entry for the 2026 Oscars, as well as Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. On the Telugu front, she is working on Peddi and is expected to sign more projects once shooting wraps up.
