Despite multiple releases — Param Sundari, Homebound, and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari — none of the films managed to make a mark commercially, signaling a brief lull in her Bollywood journey.
Now, the actress is channeling her energy into Telugu cinema, where exciting opportunities await. She is currently shooting for Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi, which is progressing at a rapid pace and is slated for release in March 2026.
Adding to the buzz, Janhvi is reportedly in advanced talks to play one of the female leads in Allu Arjun and Atlee’s upcoming sci-fi entertainer. The high-profile project already stars Deepika Padukone as the main heroine, while Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor are being considered for other key roles.
If all goes as planned, Janhvi will soon have two major Telugu films lined up — marking a strong new beginning in the South. While her Bollywood run has momentarily slowed, her Tollywood career is clearly taking flight.
