Sanjay Gupta, a well-known Bollywood producer-director, has recently sparked discussion in the film industry with his detailed explanation of how a single star actor reportedly uses up to six caravans on a film set each day.
According to Gupta, each caravan serves a specific purpose, and the setup reflects the scale of comfort and logistics demanded by some top stars in the industry. He explained that one caravan is used by the actor for casual rest time, another is dedicated to hair and makeup, while a third is reserved for personal meetings and private space.

A fourth caravan, he said, is reportedly used by a personal chef who prepares customized meals at the producer’s expense. The fifth caravan houses fitness equipment along with a trainer and support staff, while the sixth is allocated for assistants and crew members who support the actor’s daily schedule on set.
Gupta emphasized that he was not exaggerating, stating that this reflects the current working culture on some Bollywood sets. His comments have gone viral, triggering widespread debate about celebrity privileges and production costs in the industry.
