TDP’s firebrand leader and Anantapur MP JC Diwaka Reddy, who is known for his outspokenness, has breathed fire on BJP MLC Somu Veerraju who is leveling serious allegations against Chandrababu Naidu and his government. Speaking to media, JC Diwakar Reddy asked who is Somu Veerraju? JC even reminded that Somu Veerraju became MLC only with the support of Chandrababu. “Even who can’t win elections are criticizing chief minister,” said JC referring to Somu Veerraju. He further added that BJP got into power in AP with TDP’s support.
“Only due to alliance, TDP backed BJP candidates as MPs, MLAs and made them win their seats,” said JC. “What favour did BJP do for the AP in which it has coalition government?” he asked.
JC said that he felt bad for criticizing Chandrababu after taking a lot of help from him. Chandrababu supported BJP a lot during 2014 polls.
“How do you feel, if I criticize your leader Modi?” JC shot back to Somu Veerraju. Finding fault with Somu Veerraju’s personal comments on Naidu’s assets and meteoric rise, JC said that it has become common for everyone to criticize Naidu’s assets.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu has passed strict orders to all TDP leaders, party workers to keep tight lipped on Somu Veerraju’s comments against him. Naidu earlier stated that he is practicing coalition dharma even though BJP leaders in AP are breaking it often. Reiterating the same, Chandrababu told his party men to ignore Somu Veerraju’s remarks.
