Vijay Sethupathi in Talks to Play Vibhishana in Ramayana
Actor Vijay Sethupathi is reportedly in talks to portray Vibhishana in director Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming epic Ramayana. The character of Vibhishana, the younger brother of Ravana, is known for standing by truth and righteousness over blood ties, making it a pivotal role in the narrative.
According to reports, Vibhishana will have a strong and impactful presence across the two-part film series, which is scheduled for grand Diwali releases this year and in 2027. However, the makers are yet to make an official confirmation regarding Vijay Sethupathi’s casting.
The ambitious magnum opus boasts a stellar ensemble, with Ranbir Kapoor stepping into the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi playing Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Yash essaying the role of Ravana.
