It’s already known that Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel are teaming up for their much-awaited project, tentatively titled Dragon. Though the film is still in its early stages of production, Jr NTR began shooting for it earlier last week.
The latest update is that the makers are investing heavily in building massive sets for the film’s action sequences. A significant portion of the budget has been allocated exclusively for these grand-scale episodes.
According to recent reports, Dragon is progressing at a brisk pace. A huge set has been constructed near Kunta, Karnataka, featuring elements like a helicopter, houses, railway tracks, artillery, and tankers, indicating an intense and large-scale action drama. The shoot is taking place daily from 7 AM to 7 PM, with Jr NTR joining the sets from April 22, 2025.
On the technical front, the music for Dragon is being composed by Ravi Basrur, while production is being jointly handled by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. Initially planned for a Sankranti 2026 release, the film is now slated to hit theaters in summer 2026, with a tentative release date of April 9.
Given the powerful combination of Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel, expectations are sky-high, and the buzz around the project continues to grow with each passing day.
