Jr NTR, who impressed everyone with Devara, is going all out for his next film, rumored to be titled Dragon. Fans were initially surprised by his dramatic weight loss, but it turns out it’s for a flashback role. Composer Ravi Basrur, fresh off his original score album Titan, clarified that the music for Dragon will be “epic but rooted,” unlike the style of KGF or Salaar, giving fans some reassurance about the film’s scale and tone.
Shooting began in June with a major action sequence, and the team has already filmed in several locations across India. Now, buzz suggests they are heading to Africa for a key schedule, which promises to be a highlight of the film. Rumor has it that Jr NTR is playing a dual role, one of which is a father, making the Africa schedule crucial for those intense father-related scenes, as confirmed by director Prashanth Neel.
There are also plans to shoot important sequences in London. Once these schedules wrap up, the film’s shooting will be nearly complete. With Jr NTR in peak form, Prashanth Neel directing, and Ravi Basrur composing, Dragon is shaping up to be a globe-trotting cinematic spectacle and a major summer treat next year.
